Description

The Refund/Return Lead will assist the Supervisor in planning and directing the daily workflow within the Refund/Return Team. Ensure successful operations in accordance with the company's objectives. To provide training, feedback and support for development of the employee's skills and achievements to the employee's career goals.

Department Administration

  • Assist the Supervisor in planning and directing the daily workflow.
  • Delegate and follow up with completion of escalated customer issues.
  • Manage the gathering and recording the team's daily statistics and accurately prepare reports for management.
  • Manage and control assigned special projects in accordance with the business requirements.
  • Assist with outgoing calls to various agencies to determine reason for refund.
  • Research parcels utilizing LERETA/Lender system to ensure refunds are valid prior to posting to escrow.
  • Prioritize daily workflow to maintain 10 day processing standard.
  • Motivate team and participate in cross training personnel.
  • Assist and support the implementation of new policies and procedures.
 
Position Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel 2007, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Access 97.
  • Extensive knowledge of the LERETA online system, Black Knight (MSP) and/or Fiserv Servicing Systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of how to research and process Refund/Return checks, including difficult penalty determinations.
  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years in Tax Service and/or loan service experience or 12 – 18 months experience as a Refund/Return Processor.
