We are based in Rockaway, NJ and also operate a satellite Washington, DC location.   Position Marketing Manager   Description Activu is seeking an experienced, motivated, aggressive marketing professional with a proven track record of creating marketing programs, building brand awareness and managing the marketing effort at a company. As a trusted advisor to the sales and product teams, the individual will develop and execute multi-touch marketing strategies that deliver measurable results. This hands-on role is multi-faceted, involving everything from new product launches to focused customer events to content campaigns. Key Aspects of the Role Include: Marketing program development Research and develop marketing campaigns that support the objectives of the business. Build relationships and consult with stakeholders across the company to ensure plans are well conceived and targeted. Lead generation and reporting Develop and target the appropriate audiences in our major customer segments with lead and nurture programs. Track and report on the performance of all tactics and campaigns using Salesforce dashboards and other metrics and ensure campaigns are optimized. Content marketing Identify opportunities for strategic content that will deliver on marketing objectives. Create, edit and rewrite copy to make it suitable for multiple delivery channels Manage the development of digital campaign assets using Marketo and other appropriate tools Events Create and manage event plans and budgets in support of the overall marketing plan Proactively partner with internal teams and outside partners where appropriate.   Position Requirements Education, Experience, Competencies Experience working in a technology field preferable in either of the following: financial services industry, public utilities, transportation, public safety, or telecommunications. Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (Salesforce.com and Marketo strongly preferred). Excellent computer skills including strong skills working with Microsoft Office products. 7+ years of experience with a BA, BS or equivalent. Outstanding written and spoken English. Ability to negotiate contracts and foster relationships with key suppliers. Strong presentation skills. Strong team player with ability to manage and lead through influence, persuasion and negotiation.
