Devereux Arizona offers comprehensive outpatient counseling services for individuals, families, and groups in office, school and or home settings. We focus on providing services to children from birth to the age of 18 experiencing behavioral and emotional challenges. Specialties include the treatment of ADHD, conduct disorders, mood disorders, physical abuse, sexual abuse and anxiety disorders and autism spectrum disorders. Counseling services may be supplemented by psychiatric intervention and medication management when needed.

Located in Tucson, Arizona our Clinicians are responsible for intakes and assessments of new clients, demonstrating knowledge and skills to provide appropriate care, treatment, and services for the behavioral health needs of children and adolescents. Expereince with working with LGBTQ highly preferred.

Position Requirements

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work or related field
  • Current and valid associate or independent level license through the AZBBHE (LAC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LASAC, LISAC); Required
  • Experienced working with LGBTQ highly preferred
  • Clinical Internship and one (1) year of relevant experience working within the behavioral health field required
  • Proficient computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft office programs
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Current unrestricted AZ Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Experience working with gender and sexual minorities preferred
 
Exempt/Non-Exempt Exempt  
Job Summary Schedule for this position is: Monday-Friday normal business hours with some evenings and weekends as needed.
