What you'll do: - Serve as a Snowmazium Storyteller and Program Presenter for visitors in Zoomazium during WildLights!
- Provide WildLights event information to guests
- Oversee and provide activities and scheduled programs in Snowmazium
- Facilitate "snowball" battles
- Provide nightly scheduled storytelling utilizing props, drama and A/V system
- Provide assistance to Interpretive Engagements staff, Events staff and volunteers
- Assist in set up and closure of Zoomazium nightly including reporting statistics
When we’ll need you: - We are looking for multiple, part-time program presenters to support Wildlights which starts November 23, 2018 and runs through January 5, 2019.
- Wildlights runs 7 days a week with the exception of Dec 24th and 25th
- Training and orientation are expected to take place in mid-November
- Shifts will be scheduled from 4:45 - 9:15 pm

- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Must be enthusiastic and customer service oriented and deal with clients in a courteous and professional manner. Enjoy working with the public including diverse populations and people of all ages
- Ability to work effectively as a team member, and independently with little supervision
- Possess general knowledge of zoology, ecology and conservation
- Flexibility in dealing with program delivery and changes in deadlines and operation protocol
- Ability to work a non-standard/flexible schedule, which may include weekends, evenings and holidays
- Ability to handle education program animals and to become a WPZ certified animal presenter
- Commitment to the mission of the zoo and the institutions’ Core Values
