Description

Successfully supports the Agency Systems Management team by conducting standardized quality assurance reviews on LERETA's proprietary tax agency information. Ensures consistency with LERETA, clients and agencies needs to provide timely and accurate feedback and reporting of results to team and management. This position will establish and maintain high quality relationships between LERETA and the taxing jurisdictions and agencies and be knowledgeable on each agency's specific requirements as well as LERETA's departmental processes.

Agency Systems Management:

  • Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining agency records, reports and operating procedures.
  • Prepares audit reports by documenting audit tests and findings.
  • Communicates audit findings with auditees by preparing final reports.
  • Evaluates adequacy of internal control systems by completing audit questionnaires.
  • Maintains internal control systems by updating audit programs and questionnaires
  • Recommends new policies and procedures based on findings.
  • Prepares special audit control reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing operating information and trends.
  • Complies with all security requirements by reading and adhering to all LERETA policies.
  • Reviews agency trending to identify processing gaps and recommend business improvement solutions.
  • Maintains a current knowledge of State and Local Mortgage tax requirements.
  • Organizes and prioritizes to ensure timely completion of daily assigned tasks.
  • Performs other miscellaneous tasks, as assigned by Management.

Leadership:

  • Communicates with all Business Units and work with various resources to review history and business requirements. Provide feedback to all Business Units as needed.
  • Maintains performance standard for quality and productivity required for this position.
  • Provides training, support and mentoring as required to both existing and new associates.
  • Assists other team members as needed.
  • Assists in the development of procedures and/or processing.
  • Shares accountability with team for delivering service and quality to clients.

Strategic Support:

  • Confers with and provide assistance to other LERETA employees.
  • Participates in formulating and administering company policies and develop long range goals and objectives.
  • Supports, leads, and provides updates for other strategic and operational projects as assigned by Management.
 
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or equivalent related discipline.
  • 5 years’ experience in mortgage servicing industry.
  • Leadership experience with or without at least 3 direct reports and/or 10 indirect staff.
