Position System Analyst - Journeyman (Help Desk Operations)  
Description

SUMMARY: The senior Help Desk Manager will run the ULLS A(E) Help Desk and perform advanced and complex systematic reviews of Army Aviation and ULLS-A(E) domain to determine application and design of systems or models.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide ULLS-A(E) Help Desk support from 0700 to 1700 ET, Monday through Friday.
  • Provide functional and technical telephonic customer assistance for both CONUS and OCONUS on all ULLS-A(E) related issues and support during any emergencies outside of normal duty hours.
  • Document help desk ticket resolution details/information into the help desk support tool utilized by PL LIS.
  • Provide help desk support for end users and resolve change requests for database related issues.
  • Other duties as assigned

Seeing, hearing, speaking, walking, sitting, climbing, repetitive arm and finger motions, maybe required to lift (up to 25 lbs.), push pull and stand. Must be able sit for prolonged periods of time

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Individual must maintain a safe work environment. Individual must be aware of security measures involving computer and document security, and other measures associated with working in a facility that utilizes security measures and precautions.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Must have or be eligible to obtain IT-III personnel security standard.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Minimum of seven years of experience is required, five of which must be proven direct Army Aviation task related experience with ULLS-A(E) aviation supply, maintenance, readiness management systems and procedures and a minimum of two years experience providing Help Desk support.
