Description

SUMMARY: Leads consulting and incident response projects to deliver a total solution, applying best practices and methodologies. Align information technology with business requirements, and integrates, as appropriate, relevant COTS and custom technologies, to design and/or implement enterprise-grade solutions. Applies these solutions in complex or critical business and IT environments.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, manage, control, close-out, and report on the ULLS-A(E) project.
  • Provide courses of action to PL LIS for established planning criteria to control, lead, organize, plan, maintain, and set performance standards for the tasks associated with this effort.
  • Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and develop project plans, Work Breakdown Structures, activity schedules, GANTT charts, and project status reports as required for effective execution and performance.
  • Some of the common management tasks expected to be performed on this contract are as follows:
  • Monthly status and cost reports;
  • Maintain accurate records;
  • Various meetings/program reviews;
  • Provide information to various services and agencies with the approval of PL LIS;
  • Develop and maintain a program management process documented in a formal program management plan. The plan shall incorporate configuration and risk management;
  • Mandatory training; and
  • Report Contractor Manpower information IAW the paragraph entitled 'Contractor Manpower Reporting' in this PWS.
  • Other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Seeing, hearing, speaking, walking, sitting, climbing, repetitive arm and finger motions, maybe required to lift (up to 25 lbs.), push pull and stand.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Individual must maintain a safe work environment. Individual must be aware of security measures involving computer and document security, and other measures associated with working in a facility that utilizes security measures and precautions.

 
Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Must have or be eligible to obtain IT-III personnel security standard.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or other related discipline and seven years proven experience in Program and Contract Management of which at least five years must be specialized in one or more of the following areas—enterprise management, business process automation, enterprise messaging, networking solutions, information security and compliance management, incident response and computer forensics. Must have proven experience managing a DoD (Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Coast Guard) Automated Information Systems contract; or 12 years proven experience as an Assistant Program Manager of a DoD Automated Information System.
