Share Email Opening Title Continuing Education Coordinator  Description The National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC), based in Greensboro, North Carolina, is the premier credentialing organization for professional counselors, transforming how the world discovers and views counseling. NBCC is recruiting for a continuing education coordinator. The continuing education coordinator reviews and issues corrective actions for continuing education (CE) plus applications for ACEP status, Co-sponsorship, and Single Program approval. Essential Functions Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. Thinks critically in regards to program content, counseling theories, strategies, and treatments, mental health degrees and credentials, and other aspects related to professional counseling. Applies the NBCC Continuing Education Provider Policy and all NBCC continuing education procedures. Reviews Approved CE Provider (ACEP) Audits. Performs prompted audits of current ACEPs and Single Program providers. Reviews applications for ACEP status. Reviews applications for Single Program Approval. Reviews Co-sponsorship Applications. Produces written communication to applicants, and ACEPs and the others. Communicates verbally with applicants, ACEPs and other as needed. Assists in termination related communications for ACEPs and Single Program Providers as needed.
