Performance standards: • Annual performance appraisal • Merit increases Comprehensive Benefits package Include: • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Pet insurance and more! • 401k with 3% match+ ½% up to 5% • Paid Time Off • Competitive Pay + Shift Differentials Job Type: Full-time   Position Requirements SKILLS REQUIRED: Strong mechanical skills Strong knowledge of plastic injection molds Machine shop skills helpful, but not required Use of basic hand tools Use of basic measuring tools Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems Knowledge of injection molding process Proactive – Must be a self-starter Safety conscious Good attitude: ability to work well with others and be a team player Good communication skills DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Preventative molding machine maintenance Injection mold maintenance. Must be able to able to dis-assemble and re-assemble injection molds. Must be able to identify mold problems and formulate the corrective action. Replace mold components when damaged or worn. Pull and set molds as required Notify supervisor of needed extended repairs and/or spare parts Completion of all pertinent maintenance documentation Quality auditing and understanding Troubleshoot hot runner system and repair or replaces heaters, thermo-couples, gate tips as needed Report any potential food safety or quality of food defense concerns to the plant manager or quality personnel Follow all documented Good Manufacturing Practices Must Follow All Company Policies and Procedures Must follow PPE procedures (Personal Protection Equipment ) This is a Safety Sensitive Position (drug required) Physical demands and work environment: Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls: reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk or hear. Employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Work environment: While performing the duties of this job the employee is/or may be exposed to high noise levels that require hearing protection.
