Effectively deal the game of Blackjack to our guests in alignment with the mission, objectives, policies and procedures of the Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures property, and in full accordance with all Federal, State and Tribal gaming regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
Responsible for the protection and control of the assigned game of Blackjack.
Conducts the games in accordance with Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures policies and procedures, handling player transactions and notifying Table Games Supervisor of any irregularities.
Advises Table Games Supervisor of any guest disputes or arguments that may arise during the game.
Informs Table Games Supervisor or other personnel of any important or relevant facts regarding specific players and their action.
Maintains a professional, friendly and courteous atmosphere providing the guests with a pleasant gaming experience, and notifying Table Games Supervisor of any guest needs.
Promotes departmental and property wide promotions.
Knowledge of gaming regulations and Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures internal controls, policies and procedures.
Maintain under normal circumstances an average game pace that exceeds 250 hands per hour.
Ensure accuracy and completion of all signatory paperwork specific to your game.
Participate in mandatory informational meetings and training sessions as scheduled by management.
Any and all other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Table Games dealing experience and employment as a Dealer within six months at a Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures property; or must participate in a Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures Table Games Dealer Training program.
Must pass an internal proficiency audition proving competence in dealing skills and procedures.
If required, must be able to pass company pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test.
Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority, and follow all relevant DGR's.
Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
Must be able to effectively communicate in one-on-one, small group situations, and to moderate-sized gatherings of Associates and/or executives.
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, percentages, common fractions, and decimals.
Must be able to apply commonsense understanding to a variety of situations, in order to collect data, analyze facts, and determine appropriate response.
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to:
Talk and hear;
See and adjust focus to include close, distance, color, depth, and peripheral vision;
Stand, walk, run, sit, balance, stoop, kneel, climb, crouch and/or crawl;
Handle objects, tools and controls; reach with arms and hands;
Lift, push, pull and/or move objects weighing up to one hundred (100) pounds.
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to:
A low-to-moderate noise level (offices).
A moderate-to-loud noise level (operations areas).
Second-hand cigarette / cigar smoke.
Moving mechanical and/or electrical components.
