Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health provides services for children and families in the child welfare system, to ensure a community without abuse, neglect and abandonment so all children grow to their full potential. Based out of Tampa, FL, this position is responsible for coordinating all services rendered to, and acting as a single and continuous point of contact for, the child or family until reunification is complete, transfer to adoption achieved or independent living is realized. The case manager represents in court appointments, assists with medical appointments, family visitations, and coordination of information and resources with the CPI, the family and caregivers.

Position Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, criminology, juvenile justice, psychology, sociology, counseling, special education, education, human development, child development, family development, marriage and family therapy, and nursing required
  • Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field preferred

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience working in child welfare strongly preferred

Other Requirements:

  • Certification in Child Welfare required (CWCM, CPI, etc.)
  • Valid Florida Driver's License

Schedule:

  • Must be able to complete a Three-Day new hire orientation clare; hours are approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm each day

Job Summary The Case Manager position is a Full-time position located in Tampa, FL. This position has a starting rate of $17.30 an hour; subject to increase based upon education, certifications and experience. Due to the hiring timeline of this position, candidates must reside in Hillsborough Co., FL or nearby. Valid Florida issued state license is required to qualify for an interview.
