Share Email Opening Title CNF Project Safety - Civil/Underground Safety Management  Category Administration   Description Job Purpose: Project specific position supporting Crux Subcontractor Safety on CNF MSUP project Duties: Participate in review of JSA, JHA and other workplace safety programs as directed. Provide front line training of local and temporary hires on organizational and jobsite safety policies and expectations. Conduct safety audits and inspections on the project as required. Partners with subcontractors to ensure compliance with client safety expectations Assist with collection of documentation and investigation of safety incidents and accidents as directed. Completes appropriate documentation and records and ensures timely delivery of records to Project Management and Environmental Health and Safety Director. Participate in investigation and analysis of incidents as directed by Project Management and Environmental Health and Safety Director. Assist in the preparation of project specific health and safety plans, as required. Assist in the management of injured employee claims by ensuring compliance with return to work agreements and development of appropriate tasks to comply with restrictions, etc. Ensures appropriate training and orientation of project staff is completed prior to work Safety monitoring and implementation of safety programs on the project; Coordination of safety paperwork, including tailboard sign in sheets, subcontractor safety compliance, and incident reports. Skills/Requirements: OSHA 30 Hour certification required; OSHA 500 preferred Ability to identify safety exposures and develop mitigation practices Ability to prioritize, clarify and execute written and verbal instructions Competence with Microsoft Office and online reporting. Prior experience in civil/underground construction industry with responsibilities related to safety management and risk mitigation CPR/First Aid required; CPR/First Aid Instructor preferred   Position Requirements   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Exempt/Non-Exempt Exempt   EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
