JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Extract required reports from the financial systems and review monthly obligations/expenditures, and accurately identifies conditions of over or under obligation of funds. Review current processes and develop Standard Operating Procedures. Review problem disbursements, unliquidated obligations, and pending transactions and provide recommendation or findings with supporting documentations to Federal Financial Analysts. Review completeness and accuracy of funding document package. Maintain electronic Key Supporting Documentations with the naming conventions in the database/shared drive for file retention. Uses automated Financial Management Systems and computer-generated products such Excel, Access, and Pivot tables to accomplish budgeting assignments. Provide a weekly report detailing accomplishments, to include completed and pending tasks, for the week to the COR.   Position Requirements JOB REQUIREMENTS The employee must have demonstrated expertise in data analytics Skills in oral, and written communication Competence in use of Microsoft Applications such as Word, Excel, and Power Point Knowledge in Department of Defense Appropriations, Fiscal law, Department of the Navy Financial Systems Financial experience with Department of the Navy, and/or NAVFAC.
