SUMMARY

Provide management support services to ensure that construction workmanship is being performed in accordance with construction contract documents.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Processes project packages, liaison between requesting/performing activities and follow-up on returned package funding
  • Manage documentation procedures and controls, files, directives, forms, records control, disposal procedures and office automation
  • Coordinate or assist with development, assembly and conduct of construction seminars, workshops, conferences and meetings
  • Maintain inventory of all minor property including IT hardware, printers, copiers, scanners, and cell phones. Update Global Address List, distribution list, and Org Chart
  • Prepare contractual close-out documentation, including completion letters to the activity, Contractor’s and Designer’s performance evaluation, as-built drawing transmittals, and Contractor’s Release
  • Ensures timely issuance of contractor passes (vehicle and personnel) for access to military reservations wherever performance of the contract dictates

PROGRAM ANALYSIS:

  • Monitor and track all expiring project funds to ensure that corrective action is taken
  • Collect and consolidate data for surveys and reports
  • Prepare charts, graphs, overheads, slides and other visual materials for briefings and presentations. Conduct briefings as assigned

RESOURCE MANAGEMENT:

  • Assist in preparing data for monthly reporting for program construction work
  • Determine distribution of assigned resources and provide guidance to personnel on the resources and job order numbers

 
Position Requirements
  • Minimum of five years of experience as a data analyst
  • Knowledge of management and organization principles, theories, including administrative practices and procedures common to organizations including or pertaining to areas of responsibility, channels of communication, delegation of authority, routing of correspondence, filing systems and storage of files and records
  • Skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques to the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems of a procedural or factual nature that deal with readily observable conditions, written guidelines covering work methods and procedures, and information of a factual nature
  • Knowledge of and skill in applying conventional methods to gather, analyze, and evaluate information concerning management processes, draw conclusions, and recommend appropriate action
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Proficiency in using computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must have prior experience at Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC)
