Forum Communications Company is hiring a full-time Marketing Operations Manager to join our growing Digital Marketing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves picking apart CRM databases, analyzing audiences and marketing. If you love a good customer journey map and get excited about segmenting audiences for campaigns, the Marketing Operations Manager role is the perfect fit. This is a brand new role on Forum Communications’ newly formed Digital Marketing team, and it will be heavily focused on managing our marketing automation flows to display relevant messages to site visitors and our CRM database. The ideal candidate will have a passion for audience development and segmentation and a demonstrated ability to set up advanced marketing automation flows with events, triggers and actions.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Develop automated website offer workflows that include detailed audience segmentation, events, triggers, actions and offers.
  • Set rules for marketing offers in automation system and adjust requirements based on conversion activity.
  • Work with creative specialist and developers to deploy marketing campaign offers targeted at specific audience segments.
  • Perform split-testing of various campaigns to optimize conversions.
  • Build out segmented audience lists for email marketing campaigns and manage preference pages/settings for email subscribers.
  • Work with digital marketing strategist to deliver hyper-personalized marketing messages with refined segmentation.
  • Develop a robust understanding of customer journeys, including the use of personas to personalize campaign tactics.
  • Maintain and evaluate marketing technology infrastructure and work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure marketing and business processes are running smoothly.
  • Regularly analyze data and develop regular reports to produce actionable insights for digital marketing team.
  • Communicate campaign status with regular frequency while identifying and managing risks and issues and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop custom CRM reporting to identify trends and recommend optimization strategies. Report monthly on a variety of campaign metrics and KPIs.
  • Produce forecast reports on predicted future conversions based on past conversion data.
 
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in digital media, 3 years experience in a marketing automation/data/CRM-focused role.
  • Marketing automation experience required.
  • Experience mapping out marketing automation funnels is required.
  • Fluent in Excel with a proven background of creative problem-solving techniques.
  • Understanding of SQL and data extraction is a plus, willingness to learn is a must.
  • Google Analytics experience preferred.
  • Exceptional and proven skills to solve quantitative puzzles is a plus.
  • Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence is required.
  • Strong communication skills and ability collaborate across departments.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines with strong attention to detail.
  • High level knowledge of ad server technology, user-level data, media attribution and general digital media tracking/data landscape preferred.
  • Ability to learn and adapt in dynamic, fast-paced environment.
