Our Team:

The WCO/Operations Readiness Leader focuses on development, implementation and supporting the sustainability of World Class Operations (WCO) or Lean methodology and processes at Nutranext. Additionally, this role is responsible for coordinating Operational Readiness (OR) activities related to Capital Projects, Plant Project and Material Changes. This individual effectively works with technical and non-technical personnel in multiple departments (engineering, maintenance, packaging, processing, distribution, corporate engineering, production services, etc.) to ensure plans are in place and are on schedule to ensure successful projects. May be called upon to work on special assignments including the complete management of small project to medium sized projects. The Plant WCO/Operations Readiness Leader reports centrally to Corporate WCO Leadership with Plant Leadership, Involvement and Commitment to achieve objectives. Revenue Responsibility includes Plant Readiness of Capital Projects in range of $200,000 - $3,000,000.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead loss identification process (material and labor) and support manufacturing in the evaluation of feasible cost reduction initiatives.
  • Drive WCO cultural journey for the plant beginning with Workplace Organization, Daily Operations Huddles and Improvement Methodologies.
  • Support the Manufacturing Site Operational Readiness of new technologies, capital projects and material changes.
  • Provide leadership of change management meetings and activity tracking.

What you bring to the team:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • 5+ years’ experience of related professional experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Work experience in project management, Manufacturing and Lean Methodologies.
  • Proven effectiveness influencing peers and management.
  • Demonstrated experience in accomplished leadership of team or teams toward achieving manufacturing goals.
  • Effective relationships, teamwork and communication skills.
  • Self-starting skills and ability to work in ambiguity.
  • Planning and organization skills to manage project priorities and coordinate function activities.
  • Adaptation and flexibility skills to recognize the need for change and initiate the change process.
  • Motivation and commitment to lead and direct others.
  • English fluency.

Preferred Experience:

  • Work experience in regulated Pharmaceutical, supplement or food manufacturing.
  • Work experience in Engineering.
  • Spanish language skills.
  • SAP Experience.
  • Microsoft Project Skills.
