Responsible for supervising the food production line monitoring preparation of all foods during an assigned shift, ensuring the efficiency of the line and kitchen operation on a scheduled shift is completed in accordance with Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures high standards of service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
„h Enforce performance standards and policies and procedures as related to Venue operations.
„h Responsible for preparing, seasoning, finishing, and garnishing all food in kitchen preparation in accordance with established recipes.
„h Perform as a team member with: Line Cooks, Dishwashers, Supervisors, Chefs, Servers, Utilities, and pertinent Casino Associates in producing a smoothly and efficiently run operation on a scheduled shift.
„h Follow all recipes and control procedures.
„h Responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary area at all times in full accordance with Tribal. Federal, State and local laws and ordinances.
„h Thorough knowledge of proper food storage, food handling, and safe temperature.
„h Responsible for overseeing operational duties as directed by Venue Manager including inventory controls, transfers, payroll issues, and scheduling.
„h Assists in evaluation, training and development of all kitchen Associates ensuring staff compliance with Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures Service Standards.
„h Install an atmosphere that encourages Associates to share ideas, discuss concerns and resolve conflicts.
„h Promotes self-development by participating in Education and Performance management program.
„h Participates and presided departmental and venue meetings, facilitates the flow of pertinent information for management to Associates
„h Responsible for maintaining a consistent and regular attendance record.
„h Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
„h High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
„h Two years of kitchen operations experience with one (1) year Supervisory/Managerial experience or two (2) years as a Grand Casino Line cook experience.
