Eddy's Front Desk Supervisor FT/RO

h Guides and supports Front desk, Bell person, Reservation, PBX, and House person Associates in the daily performance of their duties.

h Communicates to Hotel Management any guest, associate or guestroom problems.

h Documents performance information on associates to be used for annual evaluations.

h Compiles and presents annual evaluations to Hotel associates.

h Handles all guest requests, concerns, or problems in a prompt and courteous manner.

h Ensures a maximum level of service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained.

h Posts charges to guest accounts and processes payment of accounts.

h Ensures all reservations have form of payment, and responsible for accounts without payment on non-zero balance report.

h Facilitates the flow of information throughout the property, by organizing and presiding over regularly scheduled meetings with the Front Desk and Bell Desk Employees.

h Maintains adequate staffing levels in the Front Desk and Bell Desk areas, by interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, evaluating, assisting with career development, promoting, disciplining and associate separations, as needed.

h Performs the duties of Guest Service Representative, Bell Person, and PBX Operator when staffing levels demand.

h Works the Front Desk during peak hours of check-in and check-out to decrease the check in and check-out time for our guests. The peak hours are 1-5pm.

h Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.

h Is knowledgeable (cross- trained) in other positions within the Hotel.

h Responsible for inventory front desk essential supplies.

h All other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements


h Maintain a consistent and regular attendance record.

h Maintain a professional reputation in the company and community.


h High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or ability to pass our Basic Skills Assessment.

h Six (6) months experience in a Hotel required.

h Six (6) months progressive supervisory experience required,

h Or six (6) months Hotel rooms controller experience required.

h Or successful completion of a related company approved development placement program.


h Must be able to pass company pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test.

h Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority.

h Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.

h Responsible for following all relevant DGR’s.
