Performs service requests in a timely manner. Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol. Performs regular inspections of the property. Implement preventative maintenance measures. Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.). Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.). Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies. Interact with a wide range of people with a personable and trustworthy manner. Perform other maintenance duties as requested   Position Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Minimum two years full-time maintenance experience and/or a Certificate in Property Maintenance, preferred. Proven experience as maintenance technician. Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems. Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods. Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices. Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills. Working knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting and refurbishing. Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted. High school education or equivalent. Experienced in operating a variety of equipment including lawn mowers and small hand tools. Self-directed, well organized, and motivated. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Pre-employment and ongoing drug screens required. Must be eligible to work in the USA. WA State driver’s license and insurable driving record.
