Share Email Opening Title Manager, Financial Analyst   Description POSITION SUMMARY: BASIC FUNCTION The Financial Analyst Manager will serve as a key member of the Finance department with significant and frequent exposure to senior management and various groups across the company. The position will supervise the Financial Analysts to achieve department objectives and will also respond to requests from the parent company (NTT Finance/NTT Communications). Regular attendance is essential for satisfactory performance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Work with the Controller in preparing the bottoms up semi-annual budget and five year forecast Maintain rolling monthly forecast, updating annual budget based on actual results Manage Financial Analyst positions and delegate responsibilities to support department objectives Preparation and reporting of Sales forecasts Manage headcount forecasting, maintaining forecasted positions and financial impact of new positions Preparation of the monthly budget to actual reports and communication of these variance to senior management Provide reporting and analytics for department and site level operational budget reporting Analyze and report on corporate level capital expenditure budget to actual variances Preparation and analysis of construction budget to actual reports Ability to prepare high level analytics comparing site construction budget variances and present to senior management Develop and report cash flow projections for all capital expenditure projects Identifying risks, opportunities, and other areas to improve business results Act as a subject matter expert in Hyperion Analyze and determine assumptions and methodologies for forecasting and ad hoc reporting Identifying risks, opportunities, and other areas to improve business results Supervise and complete property tax reporting and analysis and support audits. Performs other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Knowledge of GAAP Ability to communicate complex Financial/Accounting terminology to non-financial personnel Ability to work with different groups and levels across the company to bring consensus Background in financial modeling Proficient with computers to include the utilization of Microsoft programs such as Word, Power Point and Outlook. Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel required. Hyperion experience preferred Able to work in a team environment. Manages stress and/or fast-pace effectively. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE BS degree in accounting or finance 5 years of relevant Financial Planning and Analysis experience Managerial experience required MBA preferred PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Primarily sitting with some walking, standing, and bending. Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. Able to hear and speak into a telephone. Close visual work on a computer terminal. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required to operate computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments. WORK CONDITIONS Standard office; Data Center environment with varying temperatures and loud noises; extensive daily usage of workstation or computer. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Must work on-site; no telecommuting permitted.
