Primary Responsibilities and duties include:

  • Determining customer requirements and proposing solutions
  • Functional modeling
  • RTL Design and Simulation using Verilog and/or System-Verilog
  • RTL-to-Gate Synthesis
  • Formal Verification, such as, Logic-Equivalence-Checking, Code-Coverage, Assertions, etc.
  • Static Timing Analysis and Functional Simulations with Back-Annotated Delays
  • Functional and Automatic Pattern Generation (ATPG)
  • Documenting Results and Conducting Detailed Design Reviews
  • Evaluating samples

Position Requirements

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 1+ years of work or school related experience with Verilog, VHDL and/or System-Verilog (This experience can include internships or course work)
  • 1+ years of work or school related experience of Digital and Analog circuity (This experience can include internships or course work)
  • 1+ years of experience of interpreting a written description of a digital function and translating into RTL code (This experience can include internships or course work)

Nice to haves (preferred qualifications)

  • Innate curiosity and a passion for problem solving
  • Ability to communicate ideas verbally and in written form
  • Exceptional listening skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
  • Knowledge of CMOS device structure and behavior
  • Experience analog and mixed-signal simulation methodologies
  • Familiarity with digital behavioral modeling and simulation and Auto Place-and-Route
  • Understanding of physical verification (DRCs and LVS) and Mentor, Cadence and Synopsys Software
  • Knowledge of Linux, Perl, Python and Visual Basic
