To provide administrative support to the Production Department by data entry, hours tracking, providing labor call in, and production tracking. Work closely with Production in various capacities to assure efficient productivity.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile production daily using line sheets versus scanned cases.
  • Develop and manage the skills matrix spreadsheet on a daily basis per the Production Schedule and Labor Schedule. Identify shift skills gaps and schedule production employees training as needed.
  • Provides administrative support to the production manager and supervisors by performing, but not limited to, the following: collect and organize production paperwork (SIS forms, post/preflight checklist, pallet sheets & etc.), creating OPL and getting employee signatures to show completed training, work with Training on developing additional training documents as needed, collect DOR metrics needed for meetings, assist with creating processes flow maps and run reports as needed.
  • Downloads data from the all production systems (JDE, AS400, Kronos) and enters into daily reports as needed.
  • Assist production department with batch sheets and schedules daily.
  • Enters rework into JDE daily. Schedule and manage the rework and processes per the Production Schedule.
  • Responsible for following all Food Safety policies, procedures and regulatory criterion including the current SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices, and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and associated Preventative Controls.
  • All other duties assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year of experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Knowledge of facility's products, equipment, packaging, and capacity is essential.
  • Use of mathematical concepts for needed calculations and projections.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form using electronic media, telephone and direct contact with internal and external personnel.
  • Operate standard office equipment and demonstrate competency in the use of standard software applications.
Position Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous related work experience required.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Organizational and computer skills required.
  • Must have excellent math skills (decimals, fractions and percentages)
  • Must be experienced with all Microsoft Word programs, including Word, Excel and Outlook, as well as AS400.
  • Must be able to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Must have good reasoning abilities in making work-related decisions.
  • Must be physically able to perform the duties of the job including lifting up to 50 lbs.
