Public Affairs Analyst 

Description

The Public Affairs Analyst will provide support to various Public Affairs programs to include long-range planning and establishment of policy pertaining to operations as well as providing assistance to all tenant commands and activities, keeping commanders and directors informed of ongoing actions, interests and concerns. It interprets and implements Public Affairs policies, guidance and directs command or internal information, public information, media relations and community components throughout subordinate commands.

a. The analyst will serve as the lead coordinator for providing communications support for the Energy Ethos campaigns, REPO and Air Space Working Group.
b. The analyst will develop promotional strategies and tactics to advance Installation neXt.
c. The analyst will develop articles for the MCICOM website and disseminate materials to Region Commands and installations.
d. The analyst will create communication plans for programs/initiatives supporting Fueled to Fight, MCCS, Marine Corps Civilian Law Enforcement Program (MCCLEP) and the Red Bull Rally Cross.
e. The analyst will monitor news media developments pertaining to MCICOM and its installations, and develop analytical reports.
f. The analyst will analyze feedback from media and MCICOM surveys.
g. The analyst will develop digital and social media communication plans in support of COMMCICOM Digital Media strategy.
h. The analyst will provide photographic coverage of MCICOM events when Combat Camera cannot, including promotions, awards and internal events.
i. The analyst will build and execute social media strategy through research, messaging and stakeholder identification.

 
Position Requirements Specific Deliverables:
The analyst will need to possess exceptional writing ability. Contractor Personnel need to have the technical skill set to provide the above described services..

Education and Experience:
Relevant and progressive experience in support of The US Marine Corps is strongly desired.
