Our Team:

As a fully participating member of the Brand Marketing & Creative Services team, under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Consumer Affairs, the Consumer Affairs Specialist III fosters consumer confidence and loyalty throughout Nutranext's leading dietary supplement brands. Responds timely to a high volume of inbound consumer inquiries, following up on phone calls, emails, social media correspondence, and online product reviews with courtesy and accuracy to ensure consumer satisfaction. Escalates consumer issues to R&D, Marketing, Sales, and Brand staff, as necessary to support consumers' needs. Leverages a variety of software and systems to efficiently support consumers; tracking interactions with consumers and reporting actionable insights to cross-functional teams. Continually upgrades knowledge of existing and new products; keeping abreast of industry-wide developments and issues. Maintains up-to-date product knowledge resources to support consumers' needs as subject-matter expert.

What you will be doing:

  • Acts as a gatekeeper for inbound consumer inquiries received via phone, email, social media, and/or from the website(s), answering and responding to each to ensure consumer satisfaction; when necessary, escalating consumer issues to the appropriate team member(s) to address consumer needs in a timely, attentive fashion.
  • Fields and supports consumer concerns, such as order issues, packaging and sealing, product ingredients, texture, coloration and appearance, etc.
  • Proactively searches the internet, including but not limited to Amazon (and other consumer shopping websites), blogs, forums, and various social media channels, to identify and resolve consumer concerns, misunderstandings, and other issues pertaining to consumers' overall experience, such as with the brand(s), product(s), manufacturing, and/or ordering/purchasing, among others.
  • Identifies areas of improvement regarding online brand and product information, such as brand descriptions, product information, blogs, and other web articles, among others.
  • Interacts with marketing staff to maintain useful, current web information, including product FAQs, pricing and images; identifies areas of improvement regarding product information, educational assets, and online articles.
  • Articulates the benefits of individual Company products and of natural supplements clearly; suggests products based on research and inventory, as appropriate.
  • Maintains strong brand, product, and competitor knowledge, including comparisons of similar products, as well as product ingredients and vitamin contents, through ongoing education and training.
  • Uses an array of research tools to provide answers and information.
  • Works closely with Public Relations, Sales, Marketing, Quality Control, Regulatory, and other Technical Service team members to resolve issues and enhance the consumer experience in a timely manner.
  • Works closely with the Social Media Team to support the successful resolution of all inbound consumer inquiries received through the respective social media channels for the brand(s).
  • Provide regular reporting on status of email volume, customer issues and online information, including both positive and negative consumer feedback, to aid cross-functional teams in identifying potential threats and risks to the brand(s).
  • Other duties and projects, as assigned, in support of the Public Relations, Marketing, and cross-functional teams, as well as the Company's ongoing success.
  • Document and track all consumer inquiries, from consumers' initial point-of-contact to the resolution (or lack thereof) of their issue(s); providing transparency for management to understand and evaluate ongoing performance.
  • Meet or exceed Company's standards for responding to, escalating, and ensuring the successful resolution of consumer inquiries.

What you bring to the team:

  • Associate's Degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Customer Relations, preferably within the natural channel industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
  • Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience working with natural products.
