Share Email Opening Title Dock Master  Category Operations   Description The dockmaster is the person responsible for supervising, coordinating, and executing the day-to-day on-site operations as they relate to boat movements, fueling procedures, and boat rental activities lakeside. The dockmaster is also responsible for ensuring the safety and maintenance of dock structures and other lakeside facilities accessible to staff and customers. The primary objective of the dockmaster is to ensure the marina is properly equipped with a competent and well-trained staff sufficient to meet the varying demands of the marina among seasons. The dockmaster is responsible for assembling a dockhand staff is sufficient in size and competency to ensure Classic City Marinas is meeting our high standards of customer service. Otherwise, it is the dockmaster's responsibility to collaborate with the managers of other marina departments to meet interdepartmental needs and goals.   Position Requirements Interview, hire, and train seasonal dockhand staff to perform daily day-to-day tasks for storage, fuel, and rentals. Demonstrate and uphold a high standard of customer service that will be imparted to subordinate members of the team.
