Position Strategic Account Manager  
Description

Summary:

The Strategic Account Manager is integral to creating the relationship between Montage and its various dealers. The Strategic Account Manager acts as the internal and external liaison for assigned Strategic Accounts and is able to identify and understand changes in financial trends and fluctuations. They must utilize advanced problem-solving skills to support the sales organization, manage contracting activities, review best industry practices to enhance account performance, and assess dealer needs and gaps in current programs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the liaison for the dealer and business for escalated issues or non-compliance with service level agreements.
  • Leads new dealer implementation as it relates to the specific requirements and instructions for services, pricing of services, data transfer, communication process of requested and completed work between the dealer and the business management team.
  • Manages implementation process when new products are adopted by an assigned account by coordinating and completing tasks associated with planning and execution.
  • Manages integrity of dealer’s data by ensuring quality of business arrangement data from proposal through the implementation process.
  • Works closely with sales, service center, and business management teams to ensure dealer performance metrics are being met, resolve dealer concerns and questions, introduces new services, and participates in regular dealer meetings.
  • Supports the sales organization and identifies sales opportunities by evaluating dealer’s current situation and pursuing expansion into new product, distribution, or service offerings.
  • Focuses on training requirements, growing sales skillset and nurturing myService utilization for Montage dealers.
  • Learns knowledge about the channel, key strategies, primary projects, business plan and business arrangements with assigned accounts.
  • Establishes routine touch points with dealer primary contacts to proactively manage sales growth, existing dealer initiatives or other dealer issues.
  • Evaluates dealer’s financial performance and provides management and dealer with recommendations to assure program profitability.
  • Travels to assigned furniture dealers for onsite meetings as needed.
 
Position Requirements

Minimum Education and Experience Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales Management, Business Administration or related field.
  • 2-5 years of Sales, Customer Service or business management experience.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft office applications.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in furniture and / or extended warranty industry.
  • Ability to clearly articulate ideas both verbally and written.
  • Proficient with CRM.
  • Strong presentation skills.
