The Associate Product Manager will contribute to the development, execution and evolution of kaleo's marketing activities that surround the brand plans. This individual will serve as an integral member of the marketing team, and will work closely with all cross functional teams both internal and external to develop, execute and measure ROI on the marketing tactics. This position requires a highly motivated individual who can work effectively in a dynamic environment with a high degree of flexibility, creative problem solving and teamwork skills.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with Director of Marketing to align on strategy and tactical execution.

  • Initiate, lead, and drive marketing work projects/tactics/resources, including direction and day-to-day management of agencies of record and additional vendors as needed.

  • Maintain and refine existing, and lead the development of new personal, non-personal media: digital, print tactics (HCP).

  • Collaborate with KTLs, set up and lead ad boards, and manage some conventions/conferences and speaker's bureau events.

  • Ensure project timelines are met.

  • Attend review committee meetings to represent new and existing resources, and effectively manage annual renewals/expirations.

  • Manage SOWs, POs and marketing budget/monthly accruals to a high degree of accuracy.

  • Work closely with sales force in the field in order to adapt tactics, tools, training gaps and messages to drive success of the brand(s).

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 - 3 years of sales and/or marketing experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.

  • A proven track record of contributing to and working as part of a team on large marketing initiatives.

  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across functions.

  • Track record of applying strong analytical skills – including commercial, financial acumen and budget management and can deploy enhanced decision making skills.

  • Willingness to proactively identify issues and opportunities in the business and make the appropriate recommendations, and/or take the appropriate action, to get things done.

  • Demonstrate ability to take direction and work independently in a fast paced, innovative and performance driven environment.

  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities.

  • Knowledge of the Legal and Regulatory landscape pertaining to pharmaceutical marketing; including the Medical, Legal, Regulatory review process.

  • Experience managing vendors and holding them accountable to timelines and project cost estimates and deliverables.

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Out of town, overnight travel is required (30%).
