Description

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Industrial or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Three years experience planning or supervising heavy maintenance in a corporate or airline MRO environment
  • Proficient in MS Office products to include Excel, Project, Access, Word, Visio and Outlook
  • Good working knowledge of data base applications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Project Management Methodologies
  • Demonstrated knowledge of lean operations
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work as a team member in a cross functional organization

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Productivity, Methods, Process Engineering and Strategic Planning
  • Work directly with planning, operations and material leaders to analyze production activities and implement processes that maximize efficiencies, reduce cost and improve cycle times.
  • Develop and maintain schedule management tools and templates in cooperation with site production planning organizations.
  • Create and manage documentation and work instructions for production activity that supports standardization in terms of:

i. Work flow

ii. Tooling

iii. Material allocations

  • Leverage process improvements and efficiencies into the overall production planning process through training.

Process Measurement and Improvement

  • Collect and analyze key production measures
  • Analyze actual performance vs. budget goals and investigate variance
  • Utilized root cause analysis methodologies to improve poor performing processes
  • Develop training on procedures for company personnel on process-related issues, including the use of analytical tools and techniques.

Data Management and Administration

  • Develop and/or administer production and schedule data management tools to ensure ongoing regulatory and procedural compliance.
  • Other duties, as assigned.
