Being a Youth Therapist for Devereux has its Advantages

As a Youth Therapist, you will work with a comprehensive clinical team to include LCSW's, LPC's other dedicated professionals who share the passion for helping youth that are in need. We offer: Supervision free of cost to LSWs/LACs working towards their clinical hours for their LCSWs/LPCs (need to carry a minimum caseload of 3 youth)

· Ability to work with a comprehensive clinical team to include LCSW's, LPC's.

· Flexibility to create your own working hours and decide the quantity of therapy hours that fits into your schedule.

· Ability to enhance your clinical skills when working with children and youth with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

· The security of contracting with an organization that has been providing services for over 100 years.

LAC/LSW - pay rate is $50/hour

LPC/LCSW - pay rate is $75/hour

This position is located in Monmouth County.

Position Requirements

The accomplished individual will possess:

· One year experience with children and youth with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities

· Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or other related clinical discipline.

· New Jersey LCSW, LPC, LSW, LAC license preferred.

· One year of clinical work in a behavioral health setting.

· Experience providing in-community treatment preferred.

· Valid Driver's License

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to work on your own.

· High level of initiative, flexibility, accountability, and professionalism.

Job Summary Schedule for this position is: Monday-Friday 9a-5p with on call responsibilities and flexibility as needed.
