Job Summary:

The Marketing Assistant will be a key member of the Marketing and Communications team, providing administrative support to the department and its Directors. The candidate must have a passion for marketing strategy, including the development and execution of creative projects, and have an interest in digital and social media.

This is a temporary position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Marketing / Creative / Digital:

  • Manages administrative office functions including but not limited to maintaining the overall marketing department calendar, scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, managing phone calls, sorting mail, copying, filing, prepping for meetings and replying to general phone and e-mail inquiries.
  • Assists Creative team with print and digital creative production, project research, and vendor communications.
  • Supports digital marketing team and efforts on social media platforms and digital content.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least 1-2 years’ experience with office administrative management, inclusive of internships.
  • Creative/advertising agency experience preferred.
  • Proficient using the latest versions of Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Adobe Creative Suite knowledge a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects.
  • Passionate, proactive and engaged self-starter.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone, with high professionalism.
  • Must be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends.
