The position of Contract Review Specialist requires the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management or English preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Contract Review Specialist or equivalent role in the construction / restoration / service industry
  • Strong analytical and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail with an ability to spot errors
  • Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers, and external partners
  • Excellent time-management skills

Depending on expertise, may work with CFO and / or RMC legal to help resolve related matters.

 
Description

Job Summary

A Contract Review Specialist will need to have a strong attention to detail while reviewing company contracts and purchase orders. They will negotiate and / or modify terms and conditions on contracts in order to reduce company liability or cost. It is important to establish successful working relationships with our internal and external customers. The specialist will work closely with and report to the CFO.

Key Responsibilities


Core responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Review client contracts and purchase orders to identify areas of legal and operational concern
  • Work with RMC sales reps as well as client contacts to negotiate and modify problematic clauses in above documents
  • Review completed documents with CFO for final execution.
  • Review subpoenas RMC receives relative to requests for our project files.
  • Work with other RMC personnel to obtain above project file documents in order to successfully respond to the subpoenas.
  • Manage all updates and modifications to RMC contract documents.
  • Work with CFO and RMC legal counsel to accomplish the above task.
  • Perform training sessions with various RMC sales and marketing personnel regarding the contract review and approval process / expectations.
