Responsibilities include installing, repairing, testing, maintaining and networking of computers and peripherals; administration of Windows accounts, installation, updating and troubleshooting of software packages on Windows-based computers; provide support, training and guidance to our end-users.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
„h Installs and maintains Windows-based hardware and assists with the installation of multi-user applications on a network operating system, maintaining data integrity and system quality.
„h Performs responsibilities effectively, in order to provide a superior level of user service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained throughout the property.
„h Assists in the maintenance of applications on the network operating system.
„h Installs, connects, disconnects, repairs, updates and moves computer equipment throughout the property.
„h Adheres to standards of security, system integrity and confidentiality within the department.
„h Routinely inspects all supported equipment on property, identifying potential problems and performing necessary repairs; performs regular preventative maintenance on all supported equipment.
„h Assists in the writing of technical procedures for the Information Technology Department.
„h Ensures a superior level of user service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained by adhere to Service Level Agreement's (SLA's) identified by the organization.
„h Performs light housekeeping duties in the Information Technology Department, ensuring a clean, neat and orderly work area and a dust-free environment in the computer room and office areas is achieved and maintained.
„h Documents technical procedures for the Information Technology Department.
„h Initiates, tracks, and finalizes procurement requests and associated project budgets.
„h Keeps fully abreast of trends and changing technologies as they relate to IT.
„h Assists in creating, maintaining, and justifying IT's overall operating budget.
„h Act as liaison with third-party support, Windows-based and/or peripheral hardware equipment vendor(s).
„h Ensures a superior level of user service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained throughout the properties.
„h Consults with process owners to find solutions to solve business problems.
„h Required to participate in on-call pager rotation.
„h May perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
„h Associates Degree in Information Technology or equivalent from two (2) year College or equivalent combination of education and/or experience four (4) years.
„h Minimum of one (1) years' experience working with and supporting desktop operating systems or applications within a networking environment, preferably in a casino environment.
„h Demonstrate the ability to learn other applications to supplement the support side of the position.
„h Certified in at least one (1) of the following, or an additional Two (2) years of experience supporting at least one (1) of the following information technology systems in use by the casino:
o Networking +
„h Must be able to pass company pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test.
„h Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority.
„h Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
„h Responsible for following all relevant DGR's.
„h Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
„h Must be able to effectively communicate in one-on-one, small group situations, and to moderate-sized gatherings of associates, executives and/or community leaders.
„h Must be able to communicate with all members of the Information Technology Team in a professional, cordial manner, in order to successfully accomplish departmental and company goals.
„h Must have the ability to correctly apply the principles of Boolean Algebra, add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, percentages, common fractions, and decimals, and work with mathematical concepts such as statistical inference.
„h Must be well organized, with the ability to meet timelines.
„h Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical.
„h The ability to self-direct and work independently, as well as work in a team setting.
„h Must be able to apply common sense understanding to a variety of situations, in order to collect data, analyze facts, and determine appropriate response.
„h Ability to apply good fault isolation techniques to a variety of situations.

WILLINGNESS AND ABILITY TO TRAVEL:
„h This position will be utilized to support all Grand Casino properties and will require travel between other sites in the region.
„h Occasionally off-site training is required and may include interstate and/or intrastate travel. This may include air travel.
