SHIFT: Tuesday - Saturday, Days
PURPOSE:Oversee the daily meal and snack preparation for the Adult Inpatient Unit, the Youth Inpatient Unit, and Residential Services. To ensure that proper guidelines for food preparation and nutrition planning are followed, utilizing the Grove Menu system. To provide food preparation training to other staff and clients as necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED and a minimum of two-years experience in the food service industry, with proven organizational skills. Essential skills include the ability to communicate effectively and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-task environment. Ability to read, write and perform basic math. Prefer prior experience with training others on the job. Food Handler’s Permit and background check required. Possess and maintain valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle report and reliable, insured transportation.
PHYSICAL CONSIDERATIONS: While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger or handle, reach with hands and arms, talk or listen, taste or smell. Requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
