Description

KSS is looking for an experienced business analyst with knowledge of the DOI business processes, DOI applications, DOI systems, and experience supporting DOI business processes. This is a direct, full time position with our company, working at our customer’s site.

What will you be doing?

  • Support government leadership and delivery teams by monitoring and reporting on deliveries and various types of work streams and their progress, completion, risks, risk mitigation activities, and statuses,
  • Support change control processes and activities including maintaining documentation and actions
  • Provide back-up support for contractor and government personnel as needed
  • Provide liaison support between multiple stakeholders and government groups
  • Support DOI leadership by scheduling meetings, meeting rooms, conference call lines, and additional supportive actions
  • Assist with development of desktop and server Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and deviation preparation
 
Position Requirements

What do we require from you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or 7+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Highly motivated professional and capable of managing demanding workload while prioritizing and managing competing priorities
  • Experience supporting Government leadership in an administrative capacity
  • Experience with DOI policies and guidelines
  • Ability to uphold discretion and confidentiality
  • Excellent communication skills, a high level of integrity, and critical thinking
  • Set and maintain a professional example at all times
  • Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with multi-tasking abilities
  • Experience with DOI applications and systems
  • Ability to take a conceptual discussion and build a presentation to convey the message
  • Advanced MS Word and PowerPoint skills; proficient Excel and Outlook application skills
  • Ability to organize and manage large amounts of data, files, tasks, schedules, and information
  • Ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion

Working Environment & Conditions

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The work load may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
