Share Email Opening Title Barback  Description POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of beverages stations and equipment; responsible for replenishment of bar supplies. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsible for cleaning of beverage and storage areas. Provides and replenishes beverage stock and supplies. Removes empty bottles and trash. Prepares necessary fruit for use as garnishes. Responsible for receiving, issuing and keeping necessary records of liquor stored and supplies. Serves a back up for bartenders when necessary. Promotes outstanding customer service on a continual basis. Participates as a team member with bartenders, servers, supervisors, and all other pertinent employees in ensuring an efficient operation. Other duties as assigned by Department Manager and/or General Manager. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Ability to work under pressure with multi-patrons requesting assistance. Ability to work well with diverse personalities. Ability to firmly deny drinks to patrons that may be past their alcohol limitations. Ability to count money and provide accurate change to customers. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money. Ability to take verbal cocktail and drink orders.   Position Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED preferred. Minimum of six month’s related experience.  Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.
