Description

KSS is looking for an experienced Program Manager with knowledge of the DOI mission and vision, DOI organization, DOI business enterprise architecture, DOI applications, DOI systems, and experience with business process modeling to support DOI with Enterprise Active Directory / Enterprise Directory services. This is a direct, full time position with our company, working at our customer’s site.

What will you be doing?

  • Daily program management throughout the program life cycle;
  • Organizes, directs, and manages contract operation support functions, involving multiple, complex and inter-related project tasks.
  • Maintains and manages the client interface at the senior levels of the client organization.
  • Meets with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items. Ensures conformance with program task schedules and costs.
  • Defining the program governance (controls)
  • Planning the overall program and monitoring the progress
  • Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements
  • Coordinating the projects and their interdependencies
  • Managing and utilizing resources across projects
  • Managing stakeholders’ communication
  • Managing quality control of the contract deliverables
 
Position Requirements

What do we require from you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer science, information technology, or computer related discipline.
  • 10+ years of Program Management work experience in an enterprise information technology environment.
  • PMP certification
  • Experience with the DOI business system investment certification/review and budget processes
  • Knowledge of DOI human resources functions, processes, and IT
  • Expert knowledge of the DOI policies and implementation guidelines for the defense business system investment review and budget processes in order to develop quantifiable outcome-based performance measures; identify capability gaps, opportunities, and redundancies; identifies risks; and provide for business process reengineering (BPR).
  • 5 years experience with DOI Business Enterprise Architecture
  • 5 years experience with DOI applications, DOI systems, and experience with business process modeling to support DOI with Enterprise Active Directory / Enterprise Directory services. (desired)
  • Ability to analyze information, define problems and develop solutions or process improvements
  • Ability to use Microsoft EXCEL, WORD, PROJECT, POWERPOINT and OUTLOOK proficiently
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally suitable for government and international audiences
  • Ability to plan, organize and multitask Produce security conscious enterprise-level designs for Active Directory following those through to implementation via collaboration with project and support teams.

Working Environment & Conditions

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The work load may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
