Description

KSS is looking for an experienced system administrator with knowledge of the DOI business enterprise architecture, DOI applications, DOI systems, and experience with business process modeling to support DOI with Enterprise Active Directory / Enterprise Directory services. This is a direct, full time position with our company, working at our customer’s site.

What will you be doing?

  • Support the development of enterprise-level designs for Active Directory following those through to implementation via collaboration with project and support teams.
  • Provide application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems.
  • Provide escalation support for domain technology issues that cannot be resolved by tier one and two server support.
  • Support daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs.
  • Support Active Directory and third party software utilities for hardware systems within operational guidelines.
  • Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps.
  • Improve existing processes through solutions to recurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions or documentation.
  • Provide training as required.
 
Position Requirements

What do we require from you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer science, information technology, or computer related discipline.
  • 3+ years of IT work experience in an enterprise information technology infrastructure environment.
  • Familiarity with the following:
    • Active Directory
    • Federation
    • Windows Server 2012/2012 R2
    • Windows Server 2016
    • Windows security
    • PKI
    • Virtual Directory solutions and related technology
  • Experience working with Microsoft Identity technologies including Active Directory, DNS, PKI, and Group Policies.
  • Experience designing, implementing & upgrading Active Directory and related services.
  • Experience performing daily monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all active directory components, resources and key processes. Reviewing system and directory services logs.

Working Environment & Conditions

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The work load may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
