SUMMARY The Quality and Safety Manager position is located at Anniston, Alabama The position provides for the safety and quality of products and services provided to include those provided by subcontractors ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Implement an effective, economical Quality and Safety Control Program Develop and implement quality and safety control policies and procedures Conduct quality checks, inspections, reviews and audits of work activities Ensure all recertification's are maintained and archived in accordance with quality related standards for all employees with special certifications or licenses Ensure all approved Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) safety plans, policies and procedures are adhered to Implement a suitable safety program for employees that describes the safety program and identifies compliance with International, Federal and state regulatory safety requirements Prepare a written work assessment document for all employee related operations and work assignments   Position Requirements Thorough knowledge of CDP training programs Experience supporting the CDP is preferred 7 - 10 years’ experience as a Quality and Safety Manager A degree from an accredited college or university Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written Experience with the suite of Microsoft Office programs Ability to work with multiple government agencies Proof of U.S. citizenship Able to meet Government background investigation requirements   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Shift -not applicable-   Position Quality and Safety Manager   Number of Openings 1   Exempt/Non-Exempt Exempt   About the Organization DAWSON is a SBA Certified Native Hawaiian Organization (NHO) 8(a) small business with over 23 years of experience providing innovative and cost-effective solutions to our clients across the globe with offices in Hawaii, Guam and throughout the Continental U.S. The company is owned by the Hawaiian Native Corporation (HNC), a non-profit organization, controlled entirely by Native Hawaiians with a mission to perpetuate the sovereignty of Native Hawaiians and positively impact the communities in which we work.
