Performs a key role in maintaining good housekeeping, GMPs and sanitary conditions in the Production areas. Operate pumps, tanks, votators, blenders to CIP equipment. Test chemical strength of solutions. Document temperatures, flow rates as required. Perform post-cleaning inspection of equipment to ensure sanitation is adequate. Use chemicals as drected by SOP's and MSDS sheets. Use a forklift to ensure garbage is not allowed pile up during shift. Dump in garbage into dumpster. Report maintenance items that need to be addressed. Complete and attach UMI tags on equiment, as needed. Ensure that water is not used to clean equipment designated for dry cleaning. Wipe down control panels and tops of electrical boxes. Pressure wash inside tank farm areas to prevent oil buildup.

Position Requirements

High School diploma or GED.  Responsible for operating Fork Lifts, Scissor Lifts, and Floor Scrubbing equipment.   Chemical safety training will be required (provided by Ecolab).  Requires excellent observation and auditing skills and a good understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices.  Must be able to identify and report any food safety and food secutity concerns.
