Our Team:

The Customer Service Representative I provides beginning to end support services to customers. Working knowledge of application systems, departmental processes and procedures is required, as well as a thorough understanding of the sales order process. The Customer Service Representative I is instrumental in streamlining processes, thinking outside the box for solutions and suggesting process improvements. This position also works closely with all supporting departments as well as management and strives to provide “world class” support to this segment of the Company’s customer base.

What you will be doing:

Essential Functions:

  • Process orders (turnovers), track orders, communicate out of stocks, issue and process RMAs, enter credit and debit orders
  • Analyze, research and validate claims, dispute claims with customers, logging and reporting shipping errors, and, as necessary, communicate with the customer, warehouse, accounting, sales, distributors and inventory control
  • Review and investigate orders in an accurate and efficient manner in accordance with Company policies and procedures
  • Ensure all requests are completed timely, with the highest level of accuracy and presentation
  • Request timely follow-up to customers regarding the status of disputed deductions
  • Work closely with third party warehouse and vendors such as UPS/FedEx/TAGG to provide customers with accurate information
  • Synthetize complex data such as discrepancies in allowances and chargebacksResolve customer problems in a professional and timely manner
  • Respond to customer and management inquiries by researching the shipment of an order and providing professional and accurate responses
  • Assist Accounting with account reconciliation, identified discrepancies, timely and accurate processing of credits, returns, disputes, etc.
  • Work cooperatively with Customer Support Team
  • Manage daily workload to meet or exceed all turnaround-time goals
  • Generate new and innovative ways to develop, document, update and improve processes that will positively impact and support business goals
  • Provide backup and fill-in as necessary

What you bring to the team:

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year Customer Service experience in an office environment
  • Fluent in English; strong verbal and written skills
  • Computer proficient including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Experience in order processing, ERP, and familiarity with the sales and distribution module
  • Perform other related duties in support of the office as assigned by management

Preferred Experience:

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)
  • Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and/or SAP experience
