GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

Provides direct Quality Behavioral Health Provider services an authorized behavioral health services as determined by the Licensed Mental Health Professional. Provides RDS (Rehabilitative Day Services) programming at designated locations. Services will be provided to children, youth, and adults as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Attends required training to certify competency in the areas specified by accreditation agencies and regulatory agencies as required. This duty is performed as needed.

2. Responsible for the timely and accurate submission of necessary documentation for the provision of billing information, service Progress Notes, and other necessary documentation. This duty is performed weekly.

3. Responsible for attendance at treatment meetings to address the needs of clients or as directed by the primary therapist in coordination with care needs. This duty is performed as needed.

4. Attended meeting with psychiatrist or other medical staff as related to mental health needs and issues. This duty is performed as needed.

5. Follows Mental Health Professional directives as they relate directly to therapeutic interventions specified on the Plan of Care. This duty is performed daily.

7. Responsible for communicating issues and concerns related to client care to the treatment team members and works in providing the best possible service to person served. This duty is performed daily.

8. Exceeds minimum weekly or revised direct service production goals that are reimbursable. This duty is performed weekly.

9. Attends meetings or other related activities as required; coordinates care with internal and external providers. This duty is performed as needed.

10. Obtains the required continuing education to maintain QBHP Certification. This duty is performed monthly

11. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

 
Position Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Knowledge of a specialized field (however acquired), such as basic accounting, computer, etc. Equivalent of four years in high school, plus night, trade extension, or correspondence school and/or specialized training, equal to two years of college, plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Driving for Pathfinder MAY be required under certain circumstances. Requirements of the Pathfinder Vehicle Loss Control Program must be met before being allowed to drive.

PREFERRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Quality Behavioral Health Provider (QBHP) Certification required
