Summary:

Under the direction of the Manager, Quality Assurance (QA), this position is responsible for supporting the Quality Department team members and coordinating their assistance with production and operational needs.  Responsible for assisting in the efficient execution of the Repair Station Quality Assurance Management System.  Actively assists in aircraft logbook research to include Airworthiness Directive (AD) research.  Integral player in the management of the Repair Station Training Program, Supplier Quality and other Quality Department managed programs.  Performs clerical and administrative support to members of the Quality Assurance Department team and other responsibilities as assigned. 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support Manager, Quality Assurance in managing Repair Station Training Program
  • Support Manager, Quality Assurance in managing Supplier Quality Program
  • Support Quality Assurance Inspector (s) in performing logbook research for aircraft in facility
  • Support Quality Assurance Inspector (s) in performing Airworthiness Directive (AD) Research for aircraft in facility
  • Providing administrative and clerical support to members of Quality Assurance Department
  • Maintain and update Quality database system for tracking, quality and research records
  • Entering and sorting data using appropriate statistical packages
  • Arranging and maintain records for internal and external audits
  • Word processing reports, minutes, letters, memos, and documents as required
  • Other duties may be assigned to meet departmental goals

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience
  • Five years’ administrative support experience preferably in the aviation industry
  • Sixty words per minute (average) data entry skills
  • Advanced level proficiency in Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Ability to learn and understand technical aviation terminology
  • Excellent customer service skills which includes exceptional organizational and follow-up skills
  • Highly motivated individual who can work unsupervised for extended periods of times
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to manage time constraints, changing objectives and demanding clientele 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to establish and meet deadlines
