Visual Information/Video Teleconferencing Center Subject Matter Expert

  • Responsible for providing second or third tier technical support and analysis to field engineers/technicians, customers and users.
  • Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.
  • Diagnoses, troubleshoots, repairs and debugs complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems and/or software over the phone, email or on site.
  • Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems to Engineering, recommends solutions to resolve reported problems.

Assist in the creation, maintenance/administration, and troubleshooting of the various Visual Information (VI) and Video Teleconferencing Center (VTC) support capabilities.

Position Requirements


Requires strong knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

  • HS/GED + 10 years experience in VI/VTC service and support or
  • Associates + 8 years experience in VI/VTC service and support; or
  • Bachelor’s + 6 years experience in VI/VTC service; or
  • Master’s + 4 years experience in VI/VTC service
  • Proficiency in the products provided by AMX, Audio Technical, Biamp, Christie, Cisco, CSI Secure Computing, Extron and Market Central and familiar with other virtualization protocols

Travel: Up to 10%

Clearance: Must possess or be able to obtain Top Secret clearance
