Description

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Corporate Fleet Maintenance Supervision & Analysis
    • Supervision of Fleet Maintenance for more than 1,500 vehicles & 80+ Staff
    • Interviews & New Hire On-boarding Leadership
    • Collaboration with Department Heads across Company
    • Fleet Quality Control & MSP Pre-Inspection and Inspections
    • Facilitation of Positive Employer / Employee Relationships within Fleet and between Fleet Maintenance and all other Corporate Departments
    • Facilitation of Communication between Local and Corporate Offices
    • Staff Accountability for Corporate Procedures
    • Safety & Compliance Review
    • Training Coordination and Policy & Procedure Development
    • Fleet Analysis, Review & Recommendations
  • Conversion Projects
    • Project & On-site Coordination for New Offices / Locations
    • Liaison to Corporate Human Resources for Regional Fleet Staff
    • Transitional Training of New Staff (Policies & Procedures, RTA)
    • Customer Support
  • Corporate Representation
    • Pre-bid Fleet Inspection & Review of Transition Operations
    • Coordination and/or participation as needed in Trade School Recruiting, Trades Shows & Conference(s) as Appropriate
    • National Industry Trade Show or Association Participation as Required
  • Customer Relations
    • Quality Control / Customer Follow-up with Regional Fleet and Operations
    • Incident Review of Fleet Staff Statewide, including Personnel Recommendations and Decisions
    • Meeting Coverage with Corporate Customers as Required
  • Additional Administrative duties as assigned
 
Position Requirements

Specific Abilities

  1. Operate office equipment, company vehicles and communication equipment.
  2. Plan, organize and direct fleet maintenance services.
  3. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Work independently and efficiently.
  5. Supervise and evaluate performance of assigned staff.
  6. Ability to deal competently with a number of tasks at one time.
  7. Ability to positively advocate Company to others
Education and Experience
  1. Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
  2. Must have at least one year of supervisory experience.
  3. Supervisory experience in fleet maintenance and/or transportation industry, preferred.
