Work Environment This position is performed in outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet or arid conditions as well as extreme heat and cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in the office or moderately loud when in the field. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and hear. • This position requires driving a tractor-trailer truck for long periods of time on highways and on back roads. • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds. • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. • The ability to recognize the colors of traffic signals and devices showing standard red, green and amber. Travel Travel is primarily in-state during business days, although some out-of-state and overnight travel may be expected.
Education (minimum required) Some high school
Experience • At least 2 years experience driving a tractor trailer rig. • Clear driving record.
