Share Email Opening Title Business and Project Development Professional  Description Job Purpose: The role of the Business and Project Development Professional is to be responsible for business development activities of Quanta Subsurface (QS) including the relationship with customers, clients, partners and analysis of opportunities related to market share increase and penetration. Duties: Proactively manage safety and health of employees to continuously improve the company's safety and health performance. Partner with VP Business Development to develop and implement sales strategies in support of overall corporate goals. Partner with internal teams to navigate relationship from pre-bid activities through project development. Represent QS in tradeshows applicable to field within US and Canada. Analyze and understand the markets related to construction activities, supply chain, barriers to entry and opportunities for QS and partners in the electrical transmission market. Provide proactive communication ensuring communication of pre-award intelligence (i.e. monitoring of schedule, costs, equipment, manpower, materials, equipment maintenance) is communicated to those executing the work. Complete project site walks to review feasibility, appropriateness and scope of proposed work and obtain necessary information regarding site specific details and restraints required to successfully accomplish objective of work safely and productively. Promote regular visits and facilitate interaction between key QS personnel and industry partners. Maintain regular and professional communication with clients regarding proposed project approaches and details relevant to the client. Support proposal development for project opportunities and ensure communications between engineering, construction, and the owner are maintained.   Position Requirements Qualifications/Skills: Strong leadership, communication, planning, and analytical problem-solving skills. Knowledge of EPC contracts within civil construction industry. Self-directed, Highly organized, Attention to detail. Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Civil/Structural, Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or closely related field required. Strong interpersonal skills including ability to develop and execute professional presentations. Minimum of five (5) years experience in transmission and/or foundation design.
