Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital (Holland Bloorview) has a vision to create the most meaningful and healthy futures for all children, youth and families. In support of this vision and in keeping with its new No boundaries 5-year strategic plan, Holland Bloorview has created a new leadership role, Executive Lead - Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.
Reporting to the CEO, you will provide educational, academic, and strategic leadership for related concepts and initiatives across Holland Bloorview. Working collaboratively with the board, senior management, community partners, and diverse communities within and external to the hospital, the senior leader will advance equity, diversity and inclusion in governance, administration, culture, program and service design, research, teaching and learning, and provision of direct care.
Your success in this role will have widespread impact and lead to significant improvements throughout the Holland Bloorview ecosystem. You will deepen the organization's understanding of the needs of diverse and marginalized communities, including Indigenous, racialized, LGBTQI2S, and homeless or under-housed peoples, amongst others.
As the ideal candidate, you are an experienced partner of individuals and communities that have been historically marginalized and under-serviced in/by the health system. You will bring to bear your leadership and experience in developing, implementing, and managing equity, diversity, and inclusion programs and teams.
