Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital (Holland Bloorview) is dedicated to creating the most meaningful and healthy futures for all children, youth and families. In support of this vision and in keeping with its new No boundaries 5-year strategic plan, Holland Bloorview is bringing on a new Vice President, People & Culture.
Reporting to the CEO, serving as a member of the senior management team and supporting the Board of Trustees of the Hospital and the Board of Directors of the Holland Bloorview Foundation, you will be responsible for leading the people and culture aspects of the hospital to new heights. You will be a champion throughout the hospital of collaboration and partnership. You will advance innovative strategies and programs to enable the hospital to attract, develop, and retain talent, and provide proven approaches to leading organizational transformation and continuous improvement. In addition, you will embrace, model and champion joy in work, diversity and inclusion, service effectiveness and excellence, and a culture of fairness and compassion.
Holland Bloorview's strategic plan emphasizes inventing, discovering and sharing new knowledge that has an impact; personalized pathways for every child, youth and family; and partnering to drive integration of care and services. Achieving these aims will require a human resources leader who can help Holland Bloorview develop new skills, new organizational structures, and new ways of working with each other.
As the ideal candidate, you have an impressive track record of accomplishments in the areas of strategic change, leadership strategy, organizational development, and core human resources management. You value and are known to practice deep listening and collaborative decision-making with multiple and varied partners. You will coach and lead with integrity. Ideally, you have experience leading at the executive level within a complex multi-stakeholder health system or public-sector environment.
