Details Position is Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm.  
Preferred Qualifications 2 yrs with Analytics & Visualization tool administration, preferably Tableau. 4 yrs with SQL Server & ETL development within SSIS & physical Database admin on SQL Server.  
4 yrs exp designing and developing data mapping & transformation scripts to support data warehouse development & data analytics effort. 2 yrs developing with C#, .Net framework, & Powershell.  

SUMMARY: An independent contributor data professional responsible for the design of data models and databases, data quality, and the effective acquisition, integration, management and communication of data.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Verifies and/or refines user requirements, implements data integration, data management, sets up databases, and tests and coordinates modifications to the systems.
  2. Maintains a consistent view of enterprise data definitions and vocabularies to ensure consistency in process and quality.
  3. Defines data elements for new or changed applications and maps data elements across the enterprise to ensure consistency and integration.
  4. Publishes data models and supporting documentation to make data models available to project teams and IT groups.
  5. Participates in disaster mitigation and recovery plans for solutions and databases supported.
  6. Applies knowledge of capacity planning, fault tolerance, high availability, and disaster recovery.
  7. Designs and implements project level data, application, and database security layers.
  8. Develops and recommends architecture framework based on the logical and physical data model for operational stores, data marts, and content management stores.
  9. Promotes the reuse of existing data objects and entities across the enterprise to reduce cost and meet business requirements.
  10. Applies standards for data quality and serves as data steward.
  11. Captures and documents business rules used in any data transformation.
  12. Drives consistent standards for data management, and analysis tools and techniques to advise on the applications development process and to ensure compliance requirements are met for both structured and unstructured data.
  13. Provides technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  14. Participates in on-call rotations as needed.
  15. Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent relevant experience required.
  • 4 years of relevant experience required.

  • Provides all necessary documentation to meet corporate standards.
  • Forms productive networks with IT colleagues, clients, the vendor community and peers in the industry.
  • Develops and presents complete analyses to senior management (e.g. technical feasibility and proof of concepts) to facilitate decision making.
