Our Service center located in Broken Arrow, OK is currently seeking a Field Service Technician. This position will be responsible for rotating equipment service, repair, troubleshooting and installation for our valued clients. Works alone or with others to install, service and maintain various types of rotating equipment typically found in the oil and gas or water and wastewater industry frequently working under tight deadlines to prevent customers from going into environmental violation. Utilizes specific repair reports to accurately document all aspects of repair estimates, adjustments, repairs and failure diagnosis, including part numbers, part descriptions, estimated labor hours, actual labor hours, mileage, vehicle usage and descriptions of work required to ensure customer satisfaction. Assists in planning and review of new or modified installations for mechanical and or electrical systems. Works as an “Emergency Responder” as necessary. May work more than 8 hours in any particular day or on off hours on short notice.   Position Field Service Technician   Position Requirements Qualified applicants will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities: High school diploma or GED required; degree from a Technical or Vocational school in Mechanics or Electronics preferred. Previous experience in the installation and repair of piping systems preferred. Previous experience in installation, maintenance and repair of pumps or other rotating equipment generally found in oil and gas or water and wastewater facilities preferred. Excellent proven electro-mechanical repair and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work as an “Emergency Responder” subject to overtime and occasional overnight travel on short notice required. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required. Must be authorized to visit federal facilities (i.e. must have or obtain a Passport or a driver’s license from a state meeting federal security measures). High level communication and organization skills, as well as a positive attitude towards customer service required. Basic computer knowledge required (Outlook, Word, Excel). Basic business acumen required Ability to manually lift and maneuver heavy objects, parts, equipment and materials required. Ability to work on ladders and at heights over 10 ft Ability to work outdoors under extreme weather conditions required. Ability to work under little supervision. The desired candidate will also be highly motivated, willing to challenge and improve the Company's existing processes, and must be adaptable to perform other duties as needed.
